Religion

Belief in a super-human being or beings, a personal God controlling the universe, spiritual awakening, conversion, a system of faith, may be some of the words one will find associated with Religion.

A sensible place to start understanding religion is to accept that mankind came into the world with the measure of faith, at birth.
Believing that one has no belief proves faith. Belief is faith

Religion then becomes the choice and direction faith is channeled, and there are many. In fact we can see twelve of the major religion groups of the world as quoted here.

Christianity, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Jainism, Taoism, Confucianism, Sikhism, Islam, Judaism, Shinto, Baha'i faiths, Buddhism

Mankind comes into this world at birth as a certain race, sex, tribe, nation on the planet earth at a location we only learn to become familiar with as we progress in age, as with the realization of our identity and status.

If only one race and nationality existed from the very beginning of creation faith would be defined as the sole religion and not passed down from generation to generation by parent to children, all over the world, as we do today.

Religion then becomes the man made phenomena to channel inborn faith that gives us the contentment to live our lives according to personal conviction and understanding, wherever we may be born on the planet

The results and affect of religion on the human race, and world of such religions can clearly be observed throughout the entire world by means of twentieth century media and communication technology available to us today

Thus, we at least have some form of insight and free choice, for now, to channel our personal faith in the direction and religion where we feel comfortable.
