A healthy person would normally require 2,000 calorie intake for daily activities and stay active. Talking about 1,000 calorie diet means about 50% less calorie intake than daily necessity. So in practice 1,000 calorie diet could be the cases of an extremely overweight person is trying for quick shading of few kilograms of weight, but it can not be a long term regular diet.
Dietitians are there for doing this job. They would able to formulate even zero calorie diet or so called negative calorie diet for you and not that difficult task. While preparing 1,000 calorie diet they will add more of lesser calorie foods like vegetable and fruits in larger quantity,reduce red meat as well as oily foods to almost nil. There could be numerous combination of foods to control total calorie intake to 1oo calorie per day and types of food may greatly vary demanding on your appetite or tendency of hunger. Breakfast:
Apple Oatmeal
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup skimmed milk
2 oz (1/3 cup) oatmeal (rolled oats)
1/2 an apple (grated)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Bring the water, oats, and half the milk to the boil. Continue to boil whilst stirring (for 5 minutes), and add grated apple. Add further milk to cool.
Snack:
Small handful of unsalted nuts (almonds, walnuts, brazil nuts, etc).
Lunch:
Scrambled Egg on Toast
1 large egg
1 tbsp fat-free milk
1 slice whole wheat bread
1/2 oz low-fat shredded cheese
Beat egg with the milk and scramble in a non-stick pan or microwave, Toast the bread, top with scrambled eggs and cheese.
Dinner:
1/2 avocado, sliced
2 oz cooked chicken, chopped
2 cups shredded lettuce
6 cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced red pepper
1 thinly sliced red onion
1 tbsp low-fat dressing

Most attractive foods like ice-creams, chocolates, butters, etc. probably will not be seen in a 100 calorie diet menu.
As stated at the beginning that 100 calorie diet is considered as short time diet used for quick reduction of few kilograms of extra weight, but soon have to restored to a balance diet with lesser calorie for a person to remain healthy and active. Many dietitian even suggest not to continue with 100 calorie diet more than 3 days at a time.
If you are considering for 100 calorie diet it is better to dicuss with your physician first even you may be in good health in all respect.
