There's a malady severe,
So virulent that one
Might never ever overcome
Until ones life is done.
It spreads but rampantly around
Festering as it grows,
Infecting both the strong and weak

Spreading around progressively
To poison and defile.
It focuses on who might be
Untainted and serene,
And often turning them around

Born of the untamed past,
Recurring unrestricted, free,
That must its shadow cast
Upon our cherished human plane?
Nothing proves more clear and true
That man with all his efforts couldn't
Explore the slightest clue.

Leading the charge, spin the device
Blind to the sound, counting the waste
