It seem we are losing our individuality everyday. It seem we are following the crowd and not thinking as a independent individual at all. It is so typical now to follow the influence of society. It is just scary to see the directions we are headed in somethings. It is hard to discuss this topic without stepping on someone toes but societal influence is on the rise.

First, individuality seem to be in the minority. Your individual rights are overshadowed by societal influence and acceptance. Societal influence have control and the majority follow society rather than the individual who stand alone. If society accept crime or make excuses for crime then society win. If the individual fight to protect him or herself and go against the norm of society; then, they are wrong. In some cases ostracize, criticize and withdrawn from the crowd.

Second, Individuality is lost as hard as it may be to believe. The society rules in almost every aspect of what you do. Societal influence is so devastating. Loss of innocent lives influence by society that have became so angry they wanted to hurt others and then in the end destroy self. You would wonder after seeing how this devastate families, communities and schools, why would someone go out and commit the same devastating act again and again. It the influence of society that is not aware of the pain these individuals are going through. The influence of society that leaves the individuals to themselves and they find refugee in destruction rather than constructive things. It is the society that tease and make fun then the results is a gun. You wonder how could this be, it is because the crowd rules and if everyone follow the crowds, what makes it right? A individual wanting some help and do not know how to ask for help because the societal environment overlooked their cry is a little late when everyone is crying. Societal influences are so frightening but the destruction to others individuals are worst. Societal influence is like following the crowd. If the crowd is wrong why take their side?

Third, our individuality is lost. We are so influence by others. We use purchasing power by the society influence with advertisement and media influence. Society dictate what we eat by the choices of foods and how they are presented by the ingredients that they use. Society dominate our styles by the super models and the perceptions that thin is in. Society influence us by the stars and how they live and how they self destruct. Society
