Global warming: Is it as bad as it's made out to be?

-Credentials:honor student of science and physics and down to earth.

Since the dawn of the oil age which dates all the way back to the midieval ages, yes they use to dump burning oil off castle walls to ward off armies, all that tar had to go somewhere, but as we progressed the use of oil did not become less and less needed and we did not evolve into another source of energy yet.But oil is only one of the many factors of which I will explain.

-From trains to cars...

Ever since we started burning wood and charcoal in furnaces, even a train has an energy source considered to be a furnace(old trains). All that toxic smoke has invaded the clouds, but did it also contribute to thinning the ozone layer?Which is our only line between us and space and I am not talking about the United states when I say us,I mean the whole planet!

Burning charcoal and oil although has mainly caused acidic rains, polution and the thinning of the global oxygen % of which over 75% comes from the rain forests.Which we chop daily like maniacs by the way.

-Pollution,thinning of the ozone and how it affects global warming

Perhaps the only truth to this ordeal, well it is not a mystery by the way anymore, the ozone layer is in fact getting thinner by the day,in little increments but for how long before we found out?The only thing to worry about is the warming of the sea, since the ozone layer is thinner, more sun rays pass through and hit ice bergs and the sea,the sea level is rizing but they do not make the facts obvious...So why exactly has the sea been rizing each year?Because our poles are being reduced in circumference each year because polar ice bergs are melting! The prehistoric bacterias and not to mention plagues which are frozen in these ice bergs not to mention possible organisms are still unknown.

-Mother nature...

Well the fact is people we,the humans, decided to alter natures balance by destroying it,the fact is that the imbalance we caused is bound to cause a reaction equal to our destruction.Notice an increase in dry summers and harsh winters each year?More and more reports of mass destructive disasters...Islands are becoming undersea.Simply look at disaster reports from the beginning of the 1850's and compare it to the 2008 yearly reports and be ready to be influenced. The % from each year is not big enough to be a media threat but if we go back a 100 years this is scary.Just the % of the global oxygen level is scary.

Remember that compared to this planet, god and mother nature we are only tiny specs, can we realy alter something so balanced without consequence equal to our actions?
