Last year, a company launched called AGLOCO and they clained to pay people to surf the net. I don't know about you, but I am on the net all the time. You're on it right now and according to their marketing campaign could be earning money.

The company was a small, seemingly unorganized start up, but they claimed that they would be paying people in company stock until they started making money. Imagine if Google or Yahoo would have done that and you had the chance to get the stock with out paying for it. I am sure many people jumped at the opportunity.

This company earned their money from online advertising. Companies pay big money for advertising and this company used social networking, the biggest and best way to advertise. They were banking on people surfing the net and seeing these ads. So they were going go to pay you to surf the net. And if you refered people, they were going to pay you for surfing the net, and they pay you for your referral to surf the net.

Ya, it was a pyramid, but what company isn't? All companies rely on a pyramid system to do business, thats why you have a boss, or if you are the boss, you have customers and people under you.

This company was nearly an instant failure. They had a great marketing campaign but apparently needed much better pre-planning prior to launching.
