Here are ten things, from what I have observed, men wish women understood.

10) Pain is weakness leaving the body. SO DON'T WHINE! (This includes emotional pain as well.)

9) Most men don't want control. They want to appear as if they are in control. I believe there are many married men that wish their wife would just make all the decisions and let them go fishing.

8) They are insecure. Most men I have known seem to never doubt themselves. But it's not true, they do! Men like to be able to be vulnerable, but they will not open up through conversation alone. They need to feel safe, trusted and understood first.

7) They want women that want them. They need to feel needed, just like women do.

6) A man's self worth is tied to his job. Being disrespectful toward what he does for a living is showing disrespect for him.

5) Everything does not always have to be said. And certainly it doesn't have to be said over and over again.

4) Men need time alone. Women often work through hurt emotions with conversation, but men need to think.

3) Forgiveness should be absolute and instantaneous. No matter what they have done, as soon as they have said they're sorry sincerely they believe that the matter is resolved.

2)Men have a hard time understanding women. Men wish women knew that they do try but often fail to gain insight into the complex internal life of the female. Must be frustrating for them.

1) Men like sex...more than women? Who knows. But to a man, physical rejection is not just rejection of an act, it is personal.
