Republican, Rep. Dr. Ron Paul of Texas encounters time, and again the snubbing by the press with the snubbing by his fellow GOP representatives. The latest refusal came from the Fox News GOP debate in New Hampshire. After approximately 24 hours of investigation, Ron Paul supporters were focusing on Fergus Cullen of New Hampshire GOP mistakenly then Fox News makes the official announcement, and it was Fox News's rejection. Ron Paul supporters are apologizing to the New Hampshire GOP, and now are focusing on NH Fox News.
Ron Paul supporters have vowed to vote only for Ron Paul even should he not get the Republican Nomination as they investigate the Fox News Committee's decision. More and more loyal Republicans are speaking about dropping the Republican Party all together. A reporter on another Television News Channel interviewing Rep. Paul jokingly made the comment that he had similar problems as Dr. Ron Paul. He couldn't get anyone from the Republican Party to speak with him either. Ron Paul supporters are taking note. The last four years of this Republican administration's failures. They are now looking into the funds not recovered from the White House Press Releases deemed illegal propaganda by the Supreme Court. Where is that money trail they ask? Expecting Fox News taking direction from the Republican Head, President George W. Bush. There was no Federal Investigation into the matter so why shouldn't republican supporters look into it?
GOP representatives, for Ron Paul's Presidential Campaign state clearly to proceed getting him elected for Democracy's sake, and not to detour from that. This has calmed a few, but the majority of Dr. Paul's supporters have already put their money where their mouth is for the investigation. The Independents can vote for party nominations in NH, and the Independent Party is supporting Ron Paul for the Republican Nomination. Ron Paul's Republican supporters placed their money on getting him recognized. Now, they want to protect their 12 million dollars in one-night Internet investments.
Ron Paul supporters have not only mastered the Internet. They mastered the Citrus Bowl Parade in Orlando as well. Ron Paul for President signs was seen above the bleachers. Bill, a Ron Paul Team member from Washington, D.C. was campaigning, and passing out literature. He didn't stop; later at the Joan Jett concert he was doing it again. Bill is on his Orlando vacation for crying out loud. If the hearts of Paul's supporters are so big, why isn't it news worthy for Fox? There is a buzz going on and the Fox media mogul will be closely checking his investments in the United States this coming quarter.
As I was questioning Bill, another group of Ron Paul supporters from Ocala, Florida made a comment, and handed me the poll results for Republican Representatives in Florida. The poll is dated December 30, 2007 (3:48pm), and here are the results:
Ron Paul - 34% Mike Huckabee - 16%
Mitt Romney - 14% Fred Thompson - 13%
Rudy Giuliani - 11%John McCain - 11%Duncan Hunter - 1%
This is a Republican Facebook Internet Poll. I need to ask it again. Why isn't this News worthy, Fox?
The media have started to interview Mr. Ron Paul since his supporters made him the US record holder for one-day donations on the Internet. Consistency is his record, but footing against the Iraq War has placed him outside Republican support. Standing on the Constitution as his platform promise has alienated him from his party, and the media attention, because without his party's support he has little chance of gaining the nomination. This is news worthy.
