Poetry: Coming home

When I get Home to You

There's a cool breeze
Sweeping through her hair.
You can hear the trees,
But all I can do is stare.
When I look into her eyes,
It's like home on a cool day.
With clear skies,
And love is the only way.

There's this everyday pain,
That bring on tears,
Faster than the rain,
And as strong as my fears.
It's the way I miss you,
And this distance apart.
This hope that you'll stay true,
And won't break my heart.

You're the sweetest to have crossed my path,
And when I'm returned.
It's only me and you, so do the math,
And lets use what we've learned.
Then we step, one, two, three,
Dancing to this beat-
Under this willow tree,
Until things pick-up some heat,
And hearts start to race-
As we get near-
Breath in a fast pace,
And all we hear,
Are tears drops flowing,
Our hearts beating,
Soft grass blowing,
Till our lips start meeting.
We quickly hug,
Never letting you go,
Holding you tight and snug,
Never wanting to go,
Never want to leave you again,
Only want to stay with you 'til the end.
