Find a good eye exercise and be faithful to it, but better yet learn to play pool. I'm a pool player and instructor. My eye doctor said he had never met anyone my age with vision as good as mine. I attribute it to playing pool. When you play pool your eyes are constantly being exercised. You first look close at your cue tip as you make sure you have chalked it evenly. Then when down on the shot your looking close at the cue ball for the correct placement of your tip, then at distance to the object ball, then close back at the cue ball and again far at the object ball. This takes place with every shot, so think of the natural exercise your eyes are receiving while you enjoy a wonderful and extremely challenging sport. Oh, and when played properly you will be exercising your brain.

During a game of pool your eyes are looking at balls close to you and also balls that are far away. As you stand at the table your eyes are moving from side to side in an attempt to figure the best path in an effort to pocket your chosen balls thus defeating your opponent.
