Best hip-hop albums of 2007

The year of 2007 was full of good music, not only in the hip hop genre either, however there were a few albums that stood out this year as far as good music goes.

Kanye West "Graduation"
Although not every song was great in the entire album, it just really had a good vibe to it. The production was very top notch, and Kanye actually had quite a few good verses.

Common "Finding Forever"
This album was extremely well done, and Common lyrically (for the most part) was on point. Hardly his best album, it was still one of the best of 2007.

UGK "Underground Kings"
This album was simply fantastic, bottom to top, from the prodution to the guest appearances, this album was great. The fact that it was the final album the Pimp C was album to record adds even more nostalgia to it.

Lupe Fiasco "The Cool"
My personal favorite of 2007, Lupe delivers some of the best lyrics this year. Every song, his lyricism doesn't cease to amaze me.

Dizzee Rascal "Maths+English"
The British rapper delivers on one of the better albums of 2007. "Sirens" was one of my favorite songs of the year.

Talib Kweli "Eardrum"
A very solid album from Talib. I was skeptical when I heard "Hot Thing", but he delivered on this one.

Also I would like to give an honorable mention to Ced Hughes and his "Ced and the Technicolor Soundwave" Mixtape, which was absolutely fantastic and is availible for free download on his Myspace page.

This was a great year for Hip Hop and I am looking forward to another year of good music.
