to help you determine what is right for your activity level and body type. The main thing is that you drinka lot. Between your morning coffee, and your evening beer, drink something and then drink some more. If you haven't been to the bathroom recently, go get another drink.

5.Rest easy. Ironically, downtime is just as productive as everything else you are doing to stay in shape. There are plenty of articles that document the importance of resting between sets, resting between workouts and the critical need for sleep. The hustle and bustle of everyday life makes it difficult to even keep up with the other tips that I have offered. Time to relax, however, has become practically non-existent. It can be done, though. It has to. I say this as a father of four, with a full time job and a wife that has a full time real estate habit. We need to slow down and let it all come together. Take a power nap, play with the kids or go to a ballgame. Just find the time to decompress.

The reality is that many of us still do want to be the guy that once made our wife swoon. We want to be the guy that could play basketball for 3 hours and then go out and party all night. We want to lift every plate in the gym and not need to find the pain medicine as soon as we get home. We want to be able to walk down the beach without holding in our gut. However, now it takes, what seems to be, a ridiculous amount of work. I encourage you, though, for your health and for your family, to get up and go do it. You don't ever have to be that guy in the magazine. Believe me, shaving your chest sucks!
