You are dating the man of your dreams. Everything is going perfect. Then you realize the dreaded date is coming up! No, not your anniversary...his birthday. What can you get him that will make him happy?

Buying a birthday present for your boyfriend does not have to be stressful. You know his hobbies, what he likes to wear, and his favorite meal. How hard can it be to get him something for his birthday he will simply love?

Listen to your man. Many times if you listen when he talks he will mention something he is wanting. He may not directly tell you I want this awesome x box for my birthday but he may mention I wouldn't care to have one of those x boxes one of these days.

If you are not wanting to spend a whole lot of money because you don't want to over step your boundaries in the relationship you don't have to! Take him out to dinner or cook him a great meal at home and invite him over for dinner, drinks, and a movie. If food is not your idea of the perfect gift consider buying him a shirt that reminds you of him or one that you have saw him looking at intently. You can also consider cologne as a great gift. Buy the type you know he wears and you can not go wrong...unless of course if he gets the wrong idea and thinks you are saying he smells bad.

A birthday card is something to also consider adding with his gift. This gives the gift a bit more of a personal touch and allows you to sign it however you wish. It also shows you took a bit of time in the gift you choose and didn't just pick up an item you know he uses or needs.
