My Mum was a great knitter and would earn some extra cash by hand knitting sweaters for a couple of shops and for family members. If you are quite artistic there may be something such as jewelery which you could make and sell.Use your imagination but remember to research if there is a market for your goods.

Another opportunity could be if you are a handy person, as you may be able to sell yourself, as a part time gardener or DIY helper. Many local free papers offer a few hours work delivering these papers or leaflets.Organise a car boot and or garage sale and get rid of what is junk to you, to a buyer who will love it.In the spring plant seeds and then sell on the small seedlings. You will be surprised at what you can and may make here.

MYSTERY SHOPPING

Mystery Shopping is also something which many people, including me, have found profitable, from time to time. You will usually need the use of a computer, so this is one way of making cash via the Internet, that does need you to leave home. Remember to be choosy as to which sites you join, as some may actually leave you out of pocket. Similarly some sites are better payers than others.

Most of the time you will receive an email offering you a 'mystery shop' or occasionally you may select your own whilst you browse their Internet site. You need to have a keen eye, be honest, able to supply accurate records and keep to deadlines, in order to be a good mystery shopper.Some sites actually 'test' you a little before accepting you onto their books. You will have to key in the information needed after the shop before a certain time to receive payment.

There is a lot of information available about mystery shopping as many companies vary a little and the subject could easily be an article in it's own right, however you get the general idea. One thing to note though is that, depending on your status and how many shops you do, you may have to pay tax, so check everything out fully.I have found grassroots and retaileyes the most reliable.They offer interesting 'shops', with good fees and prompt payment into your bank account, which is something else you will need to have.If you are interested just type 'mystery shopping' into your search engine. Remember though any of these sites on the Internet which require YOU to pay some cash are not worth bothering with.

There are many more ideas once you start thinking. Check out your local papers and shop windows for advertisements re part-time work wavailable locally. Your local pub may even need casual bar staff for the odd evening shift or weekend. Overall, if you use your imagination, there is a wealth of opportunities to make a little extra cash.
