The Internet is a great place to earn a little extra money these days, however you need to take care and only use reputable sites.If they are not you could find yourself out of pocket, with a corrupted computer from junk emails or never ever receiving any payment. The best way to ensure you are joining reputable sites is to ask your friends and family for their recommendations.

I have been actively participating in survey, cashback and review sites for about a year now. I have found that some are not as good as others, and that if you join too many, you will just have no time to live. Perhaps if you are not working you can join a fair few sites but even then bear in mind that they can be quite time consuming. Here are the main sites that I am active with at this moment in time and which are reputable sites.

The above four sites all pay differing amounts of cash for writing reviews. Helium tends to have more intelligent subjects to write on and also has a marketplace where there is a chance that your article may be bought for publication. The other three sites are more about reviewing goods and everyday articles, whilst Ciao also offers the chance to participate in paid surveys. I have to say though that, the reward for these surveys has drastically declined.

Helium pays into a pay-pal account for amounts over 25 dollars, Ciao pays into your bank account for anything over 5 and Epinions needs a UK resident to earn 100 dollars before cash out is allowed. As this site seems to pays very small amounts I suppose this will take ages. Mind you they did put 10 dollars into my Epinions account as a Christmas bonus, so you never know. Dooyoo has just changed it's rules recently but the bottom line is they will pay cash, by cheque, once you have accrued 50. This can be done in a reasonably short space of time, although with some of the payment changes, it remains to seen what will happen in the future. The administration fee has just been abolished which is good news and Amazon vouchers can be requested, if you prefer, once you have 10 in your account.

These two sites pay for daily clicks and topcashback literally pays you cash back for shopping with certain sites. Archerfish pays peanuts and I keep thinking about resigning. However I reach the 3 payout every few weeks and the money is paid promptly into my pay-pal account. Topcashback pays a much higher rate for the few clicks it has
