How to make good choices with fast food

Fast foods abound in all types of food products. There are burgers, fish products, other meats such as chicken, pizzas and a host of others. Similarly, the style of cooking is diverse as well. Indian, Chinese, Asian, fried are amongst the myriad on offer.

Faced with this forest of choice, how does one make a good choice? The answer rather depends upon the reason behind the choice. If one is looking at it from a health point of view, then the choice is more limited. To eat healthily means to avoid fats and fried content. In this case the Indian, Chinese and other Asian foods would be more suitable. If one is looking for the protein from meats, then the burgers, chicken and kebab options would be more suitable.

One of the main things to remember is not to make fast foods a regular daily part of your diet. It will certainly not be healthy.
If one is talking about choice from a taste viewpoint then I personally would stay with the choice made for healthy reasons. This is purely because, for me, there is far more taste in a Chinese meal that there would be in a MacDonalds.
