Letters to President Bush

Mr. Bush,

I recently watched a documentary on four young men who traveled from Britain to Pakistan for a wedding. As the documentary continues the four men end up in Afghanistan to travel the country side just before the United States invaded Afghanistan to topple the Taliban. The four young men were caught up in the war and were later arrested and thought to be Fighters for the Taliban. By birth, the four young men were of Pakistani Nationality.

The men were sent to Kabul and were put through extreme conditions as well as mental cruelty. I am almost positive that you would already know how they were treated and am appalled that you would allow such treatment of even our enemy's. The young men were then sent to Guantanamo Bay where they endured the worst abusive and physical as well as mental torture I have ever seen before in my life.

After viewing this documentary Mr. Bush I can not express to you the shame I bear knowing that I even remotely share the same Nationality of those whom imposed such cruel and inhumane treatment of a human life. I hang my head in complete embarrassment to even acknowledge that I am of the same Nation that conducted such awful atrocities against man kind. My question to you sir, how do you sleep at night?

Congratulations in sharing very similar traits as those whom we have condemned to be ignorant brutal leaders of history's past. How dare you play with our nations morality in leading the world against abusing human rights. How dare you preach to our neighbors in how a country should conduct themselves in fair treatment of human life. As a tax payer and voter I deplore you for how you have allowed our Government to treat human life with such discard.

Mr.Bush, you are now the worlds new Hitler and you yourself should be brought to a war tribunal and be held accountable for the lives that were lost due to the mistreatment and abuse of the prisoners of war we detained during this war of lies and hidden agenda's. Your misrepresentation of our Nations goals and visions of a peaceful world should be your path to judgment day should you face it.

What was even more reprehensible is that these four men were held for nearly a year with out any type of charges or court proceedings. After totally demoralizing these four men they were returned to Britain because we could not prove their activity or connection with the Taliban or Al Qiada. Mr. Bush, I surely feel that these four men deserve retribution for the hell you put them through and for the misery you caused their friends and families to endure during you prepubescent war games.

I for one Mr. Bush truly look forward to the day we no longer have to call you Mr. President. You have brought a black cloud over our country that will remain for years to come. The damage you have caused to this country will plague us long after you leave office and as we try to repair our relations with Countries that no longer look up to our role and leadership I hope you remember what you have done and I hope your nightmares spare you no mercy!
This was by far the most disgusting page in our book of history and I hope you are proud that you were part of it.
