Never been to New York before? Thinking about bringing in the New Year in style? Not sure what to do? No problem. I'm highlighting the ten best 2008 New Year Eve parties in NYC. Just choose the one that fits you and your posse the best. Tickets are still on sale for the events listed. Prices include general admission only. Most venues sell VIP tickets that are available at a higher price.

1) ROSELAND BALLROOM, 239 W 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019
Hosted by Artist Mya. $35/ticket. Includes a live DJ and a pay as you go bar. Festive dress. 9:00 P.M. 4:00 A.M. Includes admission to Lotus for after party, 4:00 A.M.- 8:00 A.M. Must be 21 and over.

2) SPOTLIGHT LIVE, 1604 Broadway, New York, NY 10036
The Good Life at Time Square's Hottest Party with Entourage's Kevin Dillon. $195/ticket. Dress to Impress. Includes open bar from 9:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M., champagne toast at midnight and free entry to Lotus for after party, 4:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Must be 21 and over.

3) BRYANT PARK GRILL, 25 W 40th St., New York, NY 10018
Stylish, sophisticated and French party. $150/ticket. Located two blocks from Time Square. Trendy and chic dress. Six hour premium open bar with champagne toast. Gourmet hors d'oeuvres. Complimentary admission to Home & Guesthouse after party. Must 21 and over.

4) LQ, 511 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10001
DJ Jayceeoh spinning Hip-Hop, Dance Rock, Top 40s, 80s. $125/ticket. Six hour premium top-shelf open bar from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Champagne toast. Gourmet buffet dinner. Hors d'oeuvres. 5) HOTEL GANSEVOORT, 18 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10014
Kid Rock hosting. $200/ticket. Top Shelf Open bar from 9:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. Gourmet cuisine catered by Ono. DJ Suss One and DJ Rashad. Outdoor Heated Enclosed Roof. Cocktail attire/Black Tie optional. Must 21 and over.

6) DAVE & BUSTER's, 234 W. 42nd Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10036
14 and over. $125/over 21. $100/under 21. All guests under 21 must be admitted with adult over 25. Provides games, five hour top-shelf open bar, buffet dinner and DJ. Steps from Time Square ball dropping. Festive Attire.

7) NATIONAL COMEDY THEATRE, 367 West 36th Street, New York, NY 10018
All ages. $79/ticket. Comedy performance, catered food and after-show party with cast. Improvisational comedy based upon audience suggestions. Casual attire.

8) SEQUOIA, 89 Fulton Street, Pier 17 at S. St. Seaport, New York, NY 10038
Celebrate New Year's on the water. Complimentary food and cocktails with open bar. DJ and dancing. Festive Attire. Must be 21 and over.

8) ATLANTIS, W 23rd and 12th Avenue, Pier 60, Chelsea Piers, New York, NY 10011
New Year's Eve Cruise of Manhattan's Skyline on yacht. $250/ticket. All ages. Boarding begins at 8:15 P.M., sail runs from 9:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. Pre-arranged seating. Includes gourmet buffet menu, premium open bar and champagne toast. Dress to Impress.

9) TIMES SQUARE
If you haven't experience it, it is a must do. Get there early, 7 P.Mish. Live performers all evening. Open to anyone. More than one ton of confetti dropped. Best New Year's celebration in the world! Free!

10) HARD ROCK CAFE, 1501 Broadway at 43rd Street (Time's Square)
All ages! $225/ticket. Five hour premium bar. Passed Hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner, champagne toast, dessert bar, party favors, DJ, 22 plasma TVs.

As you can see, there are plenty of parties to choose from. The venues listed are some of my personal favorite places in the city. They will throw the New Year's party you've been waiting for! Happy New Years!
