Shakespeare http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W illiam_Shakespeare(an actor) and King James Ihttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ James_I_of_England; referred to as Queen James by his contemporaries critical of sodomy, lived, in terms of writing at about the same time, in the late 1500s and early 1600s, about 500 years ago?
Shakespeare's plays and sonnets survive as covering all known story motifs, even today. While The King James Bible was apparently composed entirely by 'men?'; who were supposedly in The Holy Land 2000+ years ago, translating ancient Scriptures into English, the only language on earth that's been evolving over the past 500 years with The Oxford Press and Oxford University creating The Oxford Dictionary that includes words in common usage among human beings for a given period of time, one year I think?, and also words in uncommon usage like the longest word in English, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilico volcanoconiosis, referring to a lung-disease?
The King James Bible is, of course, more for the simple minded among us, along with other translations of translations of translations of Scriptures pondered over by clerics to whom propaganda about terrifying gods in the images of 'man?', like them, meets their need to avoid working for a living because they're so wise; or have bigger armies of mindless juveniles intellectually raped from birth to believe nonsense about various versions of Heaven/Paradise only attainable to those dumb enough to believe the murder of other human beings is 'God's Will"?
Shakespeare, however, includes everyone in The Plays, children, women, men, commoners and kings, ghosts and comedians, elves and fairies, and the sonnets ring of near divine introspection and the angst of a troubled youth screaming out for understanding of William Shakespeare's genius, including signing his name with 11 different spellings on 'the folios' that remain as a record of English Literature at it's best. Satirizing everyone equally, asking us to laugh at ourselves, but perhaps especially at socially and otherwise illiterate slobs in 2007, whore playing house and playing family trying to impress 'the poor' required as audiences for how 12 year olds would live, they say, if my class, grade 7 social studies, was rich 500 years ago in England?
Combining one of Shakespeare's plays, The Tempest, his last, with The James Bible, would, I think, result in a very funny depiction of JamesI as Prospero? A character from whom we get the word 'prosperous'. Perhaps defining todays' comical rich and famous, i.e. wealthy and emotionally disturbed, especially Americans, desperately trying to impress 'the poor' in The USA by living like they're in the movies or on TV?
There is no mention of God's gender in The Holy Scriptures. And, as I think about it, the women in Shakespeare's plays are all evil and/or demented? Yet Britannia, after whom Britain is named, is a huge ferocious woman warrior in the Nordic/Germ-manic traditions of Giant "Mother-Figures" terrorizing 'kids?' (livestock) in terms of 'the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world?'.
So, I wonder, were JamesI and Shakespeare 500 years ago abused children who then, in the writing their names are attached to, cry out to us, even today, to wonder why Canada and The USA and 'Great?' Britain have male dominated governments of juveniles elected into public (funded) office by other adult aged children to perpetuate global ignorance rather than everyone reading Helium?
