So you think you might be on the way to the unemployment line and you want to be sure? Read on and see.

1. If your new task is to train "the new guy". This is usually a general job for anyone in any job setting and may not mean that you are about to be fired, but if they say "Wow.. your chair is comfy.." this might be a tale tale sign.

2. If you come to work and notice that your computer is gone and replaced with a typewriter.

3. If you hear your coworkers referring to you in the past tense.

4. If you notice the picture of your spouse has replaced the family photograph on your boss' desk.

5. If your boss asks for you to give him your security badge for the "annual security badge cleaning" that you are overdue for.

6. If you notice that they used your personel file to clean the spilt toner in the next office.

7. If your coffee mug has a new home as Gertrude's "newest and bestest" flower pot.

8. If people in the office start asking about your upcoming vacation.

9. If your reply to them "...but I'm not going on vacation." and they laugh and walk away.

10. If you go to park your car and in your spot there is a box with all your belongings, except for your stapler.
