Twas a dark night, that night, but palely lit by the glow of the teal moon was suspended overhead. A dangerous chill pervaded the desert planet Myrianth as the darkness of night wiped across its nebulous sky. Opaque clouds of frozen mist drifted around, blowing with the wind, and driving people away. But in the area known as Motode City, people should be safe from these dangers as they have homes there. However, not all are fortunate, and those without homes are left to die by those too selfish to aid them. Most people only care about themselves, nowadays. And although a young ten-year-old boy was just forced out of his home today, there was still hope for him, and a whole life filled with adventure ahead. The boy I speak of is named Algo Pure, an orphan who was forced out of his only safe haven, the Scimitar Orphanage. Why am I telling you this, you ask. Well it is simple really. Algo is the hero of this story; the main protagonist, if you must say so. But before we can begin the journey, you must know his past the prelude to the journey.

Kind people were scarce, and there were no true heroes anymore, only those who claimed to be heroes for their good deeds' like destroying some monsters or protecting a village. Even Algo knew it was not all-physical strength and how good you can keep something safe. He knew someone would need the heart of a hero, and a soul strong enough to support it. But like it mattered anyway
Only ten years old, he was, and it was shown in his childish body structure. No muscles could be seen and for the most part, he was just skin and bones. The tone of his skin was pale for the most part but slightly tanner on the top parts of his arms. Long silver hair that resembled strands of glowing moonlight protruded from his scalp and fell beneath Algo's ears, curling outward at the tips - this was natural. Large sky blue irises covered a majority of both of Algo's eyes, and his pupils were a dull gray rather then the normal deep black. Why it was this wait Algo did not know, but
