Poetry: Betrayal

by Caren Hannon

Created on: December 21, 2007

A drunken shadow,
walking right through me
leaving me behind.
A drunken shadow,

A drunken shadow,
I placed my heart in his hand,
he let it fall on the ground.
A drunken shadow,
stepping through me
his world and mine won't collide.
