If you pay close attention to your family and friends during the year you will have some idea of their wants and interests. So too, you will have some idea of what you should buy as a gift for each of those who you want to reward at Christmas time, birthday and/or some other happy event within their life.

Most likely, as that time nears, they will drop hints as to what they would like to have, and it is now up to you, in regard to what you do buy and for who you buy that gift or gifts.

So, the next thing you should do is to make a list of the people whose gifts you will buy and then add those items next to their names. Well, the next thing you have to do is go to the store or your computer and start shopping. Naturally, you will want to pay the least amount of money for the gift in question so you will probably go to a few stores before you do purchase that gift.

Yes, that is easier said than done, unless you have an unlimited amount of money in which to buy each and every item. Well, most people do not have all that is required to make everyone happy, and some people want to receive just as much, value wise, as they give. So too, you do not want to shame any of those people by giving more than they give to you. Nor do you want to be embarrassed about the fact that you got more than you gave to that particular person.

Then again, it is the thought that really counts, and maybe you have a boss at work who you would like to reward for favors received during the past or future. Yes, maybe your girlfriend or your wife will give you something special for that extra special gift.

Clearly, for adults, one gift is enough, but for your wife/husband and children, you should be as generous as you can. You should also buy things that the whole family can enjoy during the year too. A family that plays together usually stays together. Those people who are not as close to their whole family, for one reason or another, are really cheating themselves in most cases.

You see, Dear Reader, love and relationships really are more important than anything else that I can think of at this or any time. Time does pass faster than we realize, and without relationships, what is the point in being alive.

So now you finished your list and it is now time to buy those gifts. First, look for items that are on sale at bargain prices. Buying gifts does not mean that you have to pay more for what you get. Every dollar you save that way can go toward another gift for a loved one and/or friend.
