Who ever said getting older was better, must have been a fool. Getting better at what? Complaining about your feet hurting, you can't stand up straight any more because you have broke your self down working your self to death to raise a house full of ungrateful kids. You make all the big plains of what you are going to do when you retire. You save every dime you can, just waiting for that day that you can head out on the trip of a life time. Oh boy, you get to go on a lot of trips to the doctor, this becomes your trips for life, the doctor keeps you coming back for the rest of your life, or until your money runs out. When people start to get old, they try to tell them self that they don't mind, but inside deep down they know that it's a lie. Do you know the reason old people ware long sleeves? The skin on the back of their arms sag so bad that they look like they have grown bat wings, and to hide the age spots. Your toes start to curl up and your shoes start to look like a box. Remember your golden hair, and your pearly white teeth, well guess what, when you get old your hair turns white and your teeth turn gold.
Ah! You say, what about the grand kids. Well what about them little brat's. I've not seen a kid in the past ten years that didn't need it's ears boxed. Or it's mouth mashed. Why do you think old people move into senior neighborhood's? It's to get away from the kid's. Do you know how disrespectful it is to leave your kids at grandma for more than two days. By the time you come get the little brat, grandma feels like she has been in a chainsaw massacrer, her house is turned up side down and the kid has eat up this months food. Her cat is leaving fur ball's all over the floor and is now hiding under the bed. So when you do come to get the little brat, and grandma is standing at the door with tears in her eyes as you drive away, don't fool yourself, those are tears of joy.
When you do get old and you can't get out of a chair without help, and you are nearing the end of your life, you ask God to either give you that new body now that he promised or just take you on to heaven. You are so feed up with the pain the sadness and being alone. Your kids that do out live you never come to see you any more. All you have to look forward to is getting to eat a few bites today without getting the runs, and hoping your diaper doesn't leak when you do. There is no fun in being old you getting to feeling sorry for yourself thinking that life has past you by. You can't
