Nissan Family Man v.s. Playboy Porsche - Does the type of car you drive really speaks of your personalitY?

Well, for a start, it sure does suggest to some extent if the driver is someone who is a pratical family man, or some show-off that spends his entire life devoted to taking care of his metallic wife. HEre's some stereotypes that I thought was quite funny yet true.

- Nissan Sunny: Probably your average 30-something daddy with a "Baby on Board" sign somewhere. Colour might be maroon, a somewhat family kinda colour. Practical, because this guy is focusing on his family and kids, not on a car. Fuel consumption is efficient and he decided not to buy black cos it traps heat.

- Kia, Hyundai SUV: SOmeone who was dying to own a SUV but could not afford the LExus or Toyota version. Hence, he makes do with Korean made cheaper substitutes. Never mind that the car drinks fuel like Australians drinking beer, he just wants to have the "rough it out" image and will paste all sorts of labels to enhance the "fierce" image and hopefully cover up the fact that it's only a Hyundai.

- BMW 5-series: Your typical 30-something year old professional that is doing well in his career, and wanty the status of driving a luxury car, that is not too ex and impractial like the Lamborghini, and not as "oldish" like Merc. Most popular in acrylic gray and black.

- Porshce, Ferrari: Born rich. Obnoxious. Show-off. Rarely men who you will wanna bring home to your mum cos he takes care of his car more than he will ever bother about you.
