Running through a field, arms wide open, a long embrace and an even longer kiss. Everyone knows the typical movie scene that comes to mind with the cheesy elevator music playing in the background.

Love at first sight? No such thing.
Lust at first sight? Most definitely.

Most get caught up with the first exciting moments of a new relationship, that they go as far to call it "love". When two strangers glance at one another coyly on the bus, the fluttering in the stomach is purely a normal reaction.Most people get excited about change, new events and meeting new people. Each time,a biological reaction occurs,leaving one feeling happy, almost euphoric at times.Lust is not to be confused with love.I personally could not look at a man, lock eyes with him for a few minutes and know in my heart that I truly love him and may even marry him one day.

A favorite teacher of mine says "The closest you will ever become to psychotic is when you fall in love." Somehow I have a hard time thinking one could go psychotic from a single encounter with a complete stranger. Love takes time, commitment,nourishment and trust. One encounter without words wouldn't justify me running down the aisle the following week and saying "I do". Love at first sight is for fairy tales, movies and books. Not real life.
