Should Axl Rose be blamed for the breakup of Guns n' Roses?

it is not as if the rest of the band didn't try to help Axl and get him on the same page. He is so thick, his attitude being that it didn't matter because he didnt say it (or maybe want to believe it). It is entirely his fault, though his childish behavior allowed him to keep what he wanted the GNR name. Regardless, they are just a bad version of the original, doing sketchy performances with fill-in musicians.

His antics still continue recent, like his stint at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002. Along with a so-so performance, he stated that the band wouldn't have any new material for quite some time. A real businessman isn't he? Also, reminiscent of the early 90's, on their first tour in 8 years Axl decided not to show up for the first show in their North American tour, Montreal. Unfortunately, a destructive riot ensued and it was early 90's Guns all over again.

Dont get me wrong, I do very much like Axl Rose. I find that he is an amazing singer, and I enjoy his voice very much. Guns N Roses, wouldn't be Guns N Roses to me without Axl Rose. His voice is like no one else, and he can never be replaced. Also, his lyrics are incredible, and seem to be as if they built the music around the lyrics, when often it was the other way around. Not many people have that ability like he does, and I respect that. Like I said, this wasnt an attack on his music abilities by any means, just a clearer description of his character, and nature as a person. Why it was his fault that Guns N Roses (the original, good version) is no longer a band today.
