The media conspiracy against presidential candidate Ron Paul

This defensive stance indicates the current establishments' lackeys are afraid of the strong response Ron Paul is having on the grass roots level. Websites and blogs speak highly of Ron Paul and are supportive of his stance on the hard issues.

In an effort to discredit the effectiveness the Internet is having for Dr. Paul's campaign, the media stated that the popularity is just a farce conceived in Ron Paul's own office. This ridiculous accusation has had Ron Paul joking about his steam-rolling, grass-roots campaign as "just a bunch of hackers" making waves on the Internet.

Big name political talk radio hosts such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh try to find ways to slam Ron Paul's campaign. Limbaugh was quoted saying, "(Ron Paul) He's got supporters, and they are spamming polls on the Internet . . . don't think Congressman Paul has a snowball's chance"

Hannity on Fox News was reporting the results from the poll after one of the debates. Dr. Paul was in the lead by about 33%. Hannity blatantly lied on the public network indicating that Ron Paul supporters were flooding the voting creating this huge success. The truth however, is only one vote was allowed per telephone and if someone attempted to dial in on the same phone, a polite message was sent back; "You have already voted on tonight's debate. Thank you for your participation."

Despite all of mainstream media's efforts to brainwash the American public, Ron Paul is becoming a shining star in a dull gray field of candidates. During the midst of a thunderous snow storm, on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, 400 Ron Paul supporters gave all media something to print on their headlines. They trekked from the State House to Faneuil Hall then proceeded to spearhead a fund-raising event.

The followers pushed the fund-raising envelope to an all time Internet high. In a period of 24 hours, $6.04 million was raised eclipsing the previous record of $4.2 million raised on November 5th. Ron Paul's campaign selects the anniversary of historic dates to emphasize his libertarian views and political stance.

Ron Paul has made history as the only candidate from either party to be able to increase his fund-raising proceeds each quarter. From $640,000 to the current $6.04 million, his Internet presence has allowed people from all walks of life to hear his message. When Ron Paul began his presidential campaign, very few knew his name and he had no financial backing. Today with the success achieved with the electronic access to the public, more people are being exposed to his message and platform every day.

Current governmental practices want to keep the American people under careful watch; much like a border collie watching sheep. If all the "sheeple" are quiet and calm, they can be easily controlled. But as soon as one little lamb recognizes that there is an open prairie just outside the fence and begins to head for it, the dog hustles the lamb back into the pen.

Open your minds and visit the statements made in the establishment of this Republic. Our founding fathers wanted to create a perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Peace; provide our citizens with protection, support our income producing ventures, and insure our freedom and happiness. Ron Paul echoes these sentiments and wants to bring back the original plan of majority rule and minority rights; equality, independence and prosperity.
