Relationships are deliberate. Time and effort must be exerted in order that a relationship be formed. Two parties must be willing to share of themselves in order that bonds be forged. The shared information serve as links in the relation chain. Knowledge fortifies. The bond strengthens overtime as more information is shared. People grow to trust based on the information that they have exchanged. For instance; One may have a great fear of falling and as a result may trust no one to hold the end of a cord from which he or she dangles. However, with constant prodding and assuring the individual may slowly become more and more trusting until he or she has evidence that the person holding the rope will not let it go. The individual must feel comfort in resting personal security in the hands of another individual. When that individual fully trusts He or she will let go and freely dangle over the precipice of the unknown held only by a sure faith. This security often comes from continual information sharing. This is the curse of familiarity.
What happens when the rope frays; what then does the rope climber do? What happens when the person holding the rope seems to have suddenly switched places with another ? Does not the dangler grasp for dear life for fear of falling? Is not the fear of falling heightened? Does not that individual fear to trust another?
Yes, he or she does grasp for dear life. He or she does fail to trust, for it is survival instinct. Yes fear is heightened, for no one dangles free from a precipice when he or she is unsure of the grappler's strength; doing so is a individuals committal to suicide.
Thus, if the exchange of information has been fabricated in any way the chained is weakened. The bond becomes fragile and such fragility threatens the relationship. If a house built on a crumbling foundation eventually that house will fall. Just as that house lies can not hold a relationship together. There is not a solid ground upon which both parties relate in the presence of lies. Insecurity, self-worth, anger, and depression, are issues that ensue . As a result the relationship, the person, and that persons ability to have healthy relationships with others is destroyed.
How is this? Lies destroy surety. Individuals lose their ability to discern past truths from lies. In such instances this question is often posed, "If he or she lied about one thing what else has or will he or she lie about". Speculation such as is afore mentioned can lead to acts of ill will.
We should all be responsible for our actions. We should understand the effects that our actions have on others. We realize that how we choose to act does affect others and can cause severe pain to the point of destruction. Such behavior can affect a lot more people than was intended.
