The Earth is reaching a stage of its existence in which the decisions of politicians, businessmen, and others can decide whether the Earth will remain as it is or will it become like its sister planet Venus. It is easy to say that what happened in Venus cannot happen in the Earth. Yet we must take into account that Venus has a greenhouse effect with temperature up to 464 Degrees Celsius. There is also Sulphuric Acid in the Atmosphere. Many Experts in Climate Change have said that untoward CO2 Emissions might have damaged Venus and say the same thing may happen in Earth.

We must adapt but take responsibility for the damage that has been done to the Earth. The Republicans and Democrats in Washington and their Cold War Allies in Moscow with their missile tests and wars have increased the heat and the Greenhouse Effect. North Korea has tested its nuclear bombs which further destroyed the atmosphere. Castro's Cuba and other vestiges of the Cold War such as Chavez Venezuela, and Nicaragua under the Sandinista have done more damage.

The Kyoto Protocol is not going to resolve the issue since it does not take into account that the World has been changing and revolving. The Kyoto Protocol also wants to tax cattle that fart, burp, and poop. Eventually the human race would have to pay a tax for farting, burping, and poop.

What is needed is personal responsibility on all spheres with more planting of trees, use of alternative fuels such as alcohol, solar, or nuclear power [which can be used for peaceful purposes. But the time to act is now not when the Earth has converted to another Venus since there is one Earth and it is the only planet that can support human life. Within the personal responsibility is to replace the Republicans, Democrats, and Communists with Libertarians and Greens who would enforce existing laws regarding the environment.
