Although many people believe that teens are extremely difficult to shop for, they really are not. If you have a teen on your list, you can easily find her something she will love for under $10. Your options are really only limited by your imagination and creativity.

1. HAIR ACCESSORIES: If the teen on your list likes to try out different hairstyles, get her bobby pins,

ponytail holders, and assorted clips to add to her collection. You can find low-priced accessories at your local drugstore or even your local dollar store.

2. GEL PENS: Gel pens are a favorite of teenage girls for doodling and taking notes at school. Get her jewel tones such as purple, teen, blue, and green. You can find inexpensive pens at an office supply store or even Target or www.target.com

3. A SCARF: Keep the girl warm this winter season with a lovely scarf in her favorite color. Or, if you are creative, purchase some yarn, knitting needles, and look up a free scarf pattern on the internet.

4. CHOCOLATE: All girls love chocolate. For $10, you will have no problem filling a holiday gift bag with yummy sweets and treats.

5. A MOVIE TICKET: If your teen girl is crazy about going to the movies with her friends, buy her a movie ticket to her local theater. Next time she goes to the movies, she won't have to pay for her ticket.

6. A NOVEL: Teenagers love to read. Browse the teen section of your local bookstore and check out some paperback titles. You should have no problem finding her a good book under $10.

7. A POSTER: If your teen girl likes a certain band or actor, look for a poster of that band or actor. If your local music store does not have anything she would like, check out Ebay. You should be able to easily find something under $10.

8. MAKE-UP: Teen girls love sparkly chapstick or blush. Your local drugstore should have age-appropriate make up kits for your teen within your budget range. You may even be able to find an inexpensive fragrance she will like.

9. A COUPON: If your teen girl does not have a car yet, you could give her a coupon for "1 Free Ride" to pick her up and take her wherever she wishes to go.

Any teen would also appreciate a $10 gift card to a coffee shop or a local department store. Many teens these days have to pay for their own clothes, so they will appreciate any contribution to their clothing budget, large or small. Even if you don't buy a card, give your teen a handwritten note with your gift.
