Do you want to make money from home? How about running your very own business in bed? Now all this is possible thanks to the Internet that completely changed the way we use our computers. Depending on your experience with computers there are basically two different types of businees you want to start: 1- You own the product or service; 2- You promote someone elses product or service.

1- First you need to do some market research. Start looking for the keywords your costumer might use to find your product. Use Google Keyword tool for this. After getting the list, search them in Google to see how many websites are already there and how is their product or marketing. Search the same list on eBay. eBay is a great place for both starters and experienced sellers. Finally see how much these keywords would cost in a Pay Per Click Campaign.

2- Now you must set up the shop. It can be either a single page website or a big website shop. You will need hosting, domain name and shopping cart. I recommend that you accept Paypal as a payment method because it is very popular and is owned by eBay. You can accept credit cards safely with Paypal.

3- Now that your product and website is up and running you need to promote it. Start with Pay Per Click Campaigns. Use Adwords in first place. Then you can go to other PPCs. Next use social networks like Stumble Upon, Digg, Technorati, Del.icio.us, Facebook and MySpace.

4- Finally you need to improve your product. If you are selling information, it becomes obsolete very quickly so you must always keep up to date!
