Internet porn is an issue that when quickly looked at by most people they say: "Something needs to be done!" Yet that seems to be it...end of any action or thought.

The problem is that most people want something to be done and want to do nothing. I agree that porn is not something your little kids should see but why should the people who see it differently suffer because you want stricter regulations from a third party?

It's agreeable that action is needed but the action must be brought by the parents and not any governing body. I know most parents are busy but part of being a parent is seeing that your kids don't have these issues.

Too much time is spent on talking about how much has not been done by governments when a lot of the issues come from with in the family. It's the parents responsibility to keep their kids safe, just like it's a school's job to teach and help them grow through the education system.

And for one last thought: the Internet is not like going to a public place. It is for the public but it also is for everyone in the public. Some sections are available for certain groups of people and it may be bad for some to view but the people who view things that may be bad for them while doing so on there own does not make them victims of a crime committed by the people whom are posting things but they may be victims of negligent parenting.
