PAIN RELATED TO ARTHRITIS
After reading the article written by Jarrod,I felt it is natural and fair to share my experience.I have encounter this symthoms while performing my traineeship in the general hospital.In the orthopaedic ward,most patients came into the ward to seek treatment.Upon consultation with the doctors,there were some alternative solutions suggested.It include:surgery; medication;injection of fluid into the joint;therapy & etc.

The most common fault happens at the knee-cap,hip-joint,shoulder joint,ankle, wrist.
Patients who choose to operate and insert titanium inplant would be advised to wait till sixty years.The reason being if operated at a younger age,about ten years time, another operation would be required.In the interim,medication is consume to alleviate pain.Even though an operation is perform on the patient to correct the defect,it is given a 50-50% chance of healing.
To illustrate my point,when a patient who is feeling pain on the right knee.He or she would channel the body weight over to the left leg.An umbrella or walking stick would assist the patient.Over time,the left knee would gradually encounter the same pain as the right knee.After operating and inserting inplant on the right knee.Resting and recovering for about a year another appointment to address the left knee pain will follow.The hospitalisation bill can goes up to fifteen to twenty thousand dollars for each knee cap insert.
One eighty years old male patient was so enthusistic.He told me after the right knee cap insert, he went for China tour and climbed the Great Wall of China and return for the left knee inplant.He felt comfortable walking after so many years of excruciating pain.
