What is a password for? To protect information you dont want others to see. In the past we would use some home made techniques to make third party eyes stay out of our secrets. We invented codes to pass secret messages, secret places in houses and several other tricks and some were so good that we might even know today!

Nowadays all we need is a good password and nobody in the universe can access our data! Seems too good to be true? A new encryption algorithm has just been invented: AES 256 bit. Make a little search on Google about it. This algorithm so far is 100% safe and nobody could crack it. Even if you used all the computers on earth making 1 billions combinations of passwords per second, it would take more years to break it than the year our universe has!

A good password is a big one with letters and CAPITAL letters too. Numbers are welcome and symbols too. Make your password at least 14 character long.

Use a program to make your strong password. The best password manager for the internet in my opinion is Roboform. It can be integrated with firefox and can store all your passwords.

It can generate passwords too. You can choose the length, letters and numbers and symbols too!
