Characterists successful entrepreneurs possess

Who is an entrepreneur? An entrepreneur is a risk-taking businessperson - somebody who initiates or finances new commercial enterprises. How many people are willing to do new things and take risks in business? How many people are willing to initiate business ideas? So many people today are afraid to do something new. Many people feel that to be successful, you need to have a white-collared job and wear an expensive suit. This is a big error. The world is changing everyday. In the book Power Shift, Alvin Toffler tells us that in the past, people got power through their muscles sheer force and aggression. That period passed and we moved from the age of muscles to the age of money. In this second period, once you have money you have power. Today, we are fast leaving the age of money behind. We are in the age of ideas. What makes a man successful and powerful today is not his money but his ideas. It is the information that you have that can make you powerful. To succeed in our age, you need to put your information in the marketplace and create a new business. In doing this, you become an entrepreneur.

What are the preconditions for entrepreneurial development?
1) Belief in God
To make strides as an entrepreneur, you need faith in God. You need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you don't know. Man is a product of divine intelligence. There is nothing that is achieved in the physical that is not first achieved in the spiritual world. Whatever you lose physically, you first lost it spiritually. In the same manner, if you need something, you must key into the supernatural. You need to have faith in God to achieve the extra-ordinary.

2) Belief in Self
One of the biggest hindrances to entrepreneurship is low self esteem. Some people were made to believe that they can achieve nothing in life. There is no one like you. Avoid people who make you feel low. You are a product of divine intelligence and you have to learn to love yourself.

3) Discipline
Joseph had the gift of dreams, but he had the discipline and culture to avoid Potipher's wife. He later became governor. Daniel had the discipline to give up meat and wine to become a prince. To gain anything in this world you must make a sacrifice. Life is like a supermarket. Whatever you pick has a price tag. You must pay the price for what you want. The price may be your time, your leisure, your friends, etc. Whatever it may be you must pay the price.

4) Consistency
Consistency is something you need to succeed as an entrepreneur.
