I believe that God does say No. I believe he will deny us those things that are not good for us. God like any loving father wants the best for his children. Sometimes the things that we desire are not in His will. God says no. I believe that God is a caring God. I do not believe that God would just let us walk into harm. I rather believe He protects us from harm. Protecting children from harm sometimes means saying no, our means of chastisement. God, chastises us. Sometimes we go through things, but we have to go through things in order to grow. As a parent I know what its like to have to say no to your children even when it hurts. I also know the consequences of not saying no to my children. In for that reason alone I can not believe that God does not say no?

I also believe that God wants to say yes. He wants us to walk in His will and He wants to give us the desires of our hearts. It is God's plan that we be healthy, happy, and prosperous. Many times God will say yes but in His time. God will say yes when we are walking in His will. God is good. God is a loving father and He cares. He gave His only begotten son that we can one day return to His side.

There are also times when God says no and we choose not to hear and in those times God is most grieved. When we transgress God's will we reject Him. After constant rejection God withdraws his hand. God turns us over to ourselves and he allows us to turn ourselves into walking nightmares. He allows us to use all of our free will without intervention. The bumps and bruises that we receive as a result can callous our hearts. God never leave us He constantly extends an invitation for us to trust Him again and let Him lead us.
