A fiery glance, a warm glow of the eyes, a smile playing upon their lips when they find themselves in a scene together. It is found in a chemistry that is emitted from the passionate couple onscreen, yet we can feel it through the glow of the television. There are many TV couples that are great, unforgettable, beloved and heralded as a duo of perfection. Lucy and Ricky (I love Lucy) are great, Meredith and Derek (Grey's Anatomy) have the 'it' factor, and Piper and Leo (Charmed) were just too adorable for words. All, unforgettable for different reasons. For me, though it all boils down to one dynamic duo that can never be matched, either the actors themselves or the parts that were played out before my very eyes and made me wonder how anyone could have such a love. Though we should have seen more of her, Abbey Bartlet (Channing) seems like the perfect First Lady. Doing everything that a normal wife and mother would do, and doing it far better than normal. She raised three successful children (along with her hubby), she cooked (we know this because our girl had to cook a government dinner by herself when her hard-headed husband shut down the government to get her back after a huge fight-which was a brilliant move in itself...), she is supportive, strong willed, sassy, and classy. She has style- the first First Lady to have cleavage- and she knows her politics. Not to mention that she managed all of these things while earning her M.D. in Thoracic surgery from Harvard. She loves her husband, and he loves her. Being a strong, independent woman, she instills in us values, and the knowledge that being a hard core feminist
