Choices
We all have choices to make each day. some are trivial and some are critical. A critical choice can cost us our lives, if it is wrong, in the near future. So it is very important to understand what choices there are and how we make them. Everyone has a choice in whom they believe is God. The Bible has the answers for any question we may have.
There are so many religions in the world, can all or some of them be right or would there be just one be the right religion to believe in? According to the Bible, God says which is the right religion and what that one religion will be doing in these last days of this wicked system of things. So, which is the true religion and the one that God is backing?
It has to be the one that goes strictly by the Bible. The choice we make in which religion we join or inherited, would be most critical. Because the True God of the Bible says that all who do not listen to Him will be considered wicked and will die at Armageddon. 2 Thessalonians 1:8. It can be very difficult to make a choice deciding which is the True Religion, because all religions say they are the right religion. So how can we decide for ourselves the correct one to choose?
The Bible will show us what we need to believe and who are following the laws and principles of the Bible. It may be a religion that seems impossible. Yet, is it the one that God is backing? Lets find out in the Scriptures:
Does the religion we believe in:
1. truly believe everything that the Bible teaches, even if it is difficult to understand at first. Will we search for deeper answers in the Scriptures to find out what is true? John 17:17.
2. go by the laws and principles that the Bible teaches, especially what Jesus taught that is for our good now and forever. Looking into the Sermon on the Mount will help us find so many principles we need to go by. Matthew 5-7.
3. go by false teachings passed down throughout the centuries:
trinity - is not a Bible teaching. Even most encyclopedias say it's not true. Most of the Scriptures prove that God has a name-Psalm 83:18 and He is the only True God. His son's name is Jesus and he had a beginning and was created by His Father, Jehovah-Colossians 1:15-17. The Holy Spirit is an active force God uses to have his will accomplished-2 Peter 1:21.
immortal soul - is not a Bible teaching. The soul dies. Ezekiel 18:4; Matthew 10:28; Acts 3:23.
hellfire - is not a Bible teaching. There is no physical torment in hell! The Hebrew word for hell is sheol, the Greek
