The media conspiracy against presidential candidate Ron Paul

seen it happen; the media declares a winner with only 10% of the votes in, ay noon New York Time. Well it is all speculation right? However, you live in the west; it may be a logical thought of well why I should vote?' So and so is already won. That to me is a major flaw in the voting process. I think that it should be illegal for any media outlet to report projected winners. Why can't we wait until all the votes are in? Doesn't that seem fair?

The main issue is that we all have the right to vote. That right was given us by the Constitution. We need to take that right seriously. As I said earlier we all need to vote in every election local as well as primary and national elections.

I am very proud of the way that Ron Paul has stood up for the people. He is quoted on You-Tube as saying, "if the law is not backed by, or allowed for, in the constitution then I will not vote for it". What kind of world would it be if all our elected officials felt that way? I have a theory as to why some poll takers have simply decided not to include question regarding a person's position to vote for Ron Paul. It is not in the best interest of their candidate. This is going to be an election for the history books indeed. Whether we have the first woman, the fist black man, or a truly grass roots elected president. It still boils down to the same thing. It is the responsibility of every American of voting age to get involved. No you do not have to stand on a street corner somewhere collecting money for a candidate, or even volunteer to work at the local headquarters. You do however owe it to the children, and their children, and future generations to come, to get involved. The best way to do that is VOTE. Your vote does count but we need to vote in all the elections. Why you ask? The outcome from the smallest local election to the national stage affects us all.

Knowledge is power and the internet has given us unprecedented access to information so use it. You can no longer depend on the TV news or radio talk shows, even newspapers have their own agenda. So what are we to do? How can we really know where a candidate really stands? Research, that is how. Luckily it is still a law that a candidate has to disclose who they are getting contributions for their campaigns from. You can also look at what major organizations are endorsing them. The best way I have found is the voting records posted on the internet. It is after all public records that we are allowed to have access to. I know it seems like a bit of extra work on your part, but the results of not doing it can have devastating consequences on our future as a nation, and quite possibly our freedom. It was once said that the former Soviet Union would take control of this country without ever firing a shot. (Author Unknown). Think about that one as you pick your candidate and get out and use the right given you to be part of the American People, with all the freedoms and rights that go along with being an American.

Know that you know, what are you prepared to do about it? Time is fast approaching so get informed. Let me leave you with this last thought. There are no stupid people, only un-informed on certain subjects. This you need to make Priority one before it is too late.
