Which colors suit your skin complexion

Not all colours you like are going to suit your complexion, but it's a good place to start. Which do you gravitate toward? Not your single most fave colour, but a range of colours.

Reds and oranges are warm colours. Blues and greens cool. Browns are earthy and often neutral. Put samples of colours against your face and take stock of how they make you look. Red make you look flushed? Brown make you look sick? Perhaps blues are more your thing.

Check varying shades. Pastel Pink may virtually disappear against, your skin, but a deeper shade may bring out highlights you hadn't noticed before. Brown may make you look and feel like you should be in bed and suffering, but warm tones such as russet may deepen your tan. Lime green may make you shudder but sea or teal green make you want to dance. Pay attention to how each colour makes you feel as well as look. Your own reactions can be a good judge of the right colours for you.

If you have no idea then ask a friend who always looks good how they choose colours and what advice they have for you. Then check that with a couple of other friends and if they all agree [or majority agrees] then you can probably start with that and branch out as you get more experience.
