Dressing with colours that fit in with your complexion is an intergral part of the beauty and appearance process for the fairer sex. Therefore it is important to get the blend right.
For the paler complexion, darker clothing has a tendency to increase that look of paleness and can, in some cases, make the person look quite ill. Blacks are particularly unsuitable. Dark and bright, striking greens also can have the same effect. In the case of pale skin, softer colours tend to blend well, although one should steer clear of bright whites and some shades of grey.
For the darker complexion, the brighter colours will work. Black also can be striking with this skin colour. The brighter reds and yellows also work.
For a really dark complexion, white is very attractive. Here again bright colours will work. Blacks will work dependent upon the complexion shade.
