of not only bias, but misinterpretation, by main stream media sources there is little room for doubt. For example, there are numerous YouTube videos that are both derogatory and contradicting. One in particular, a YouTube video of a CNN broadcast shows just how little media exposure Ron Paul has received in this campaign compared to other contenders. He has participated in every Republican Debate so far, and yet when the results of the debate are discussed, main stream media seems to forget that Ron Paul was even there. They spend their time and efforts dissecting and publicizing the efforts of the better known candidates, mentioning him only in passing, if at all.
However, in an interesting example of media mis-information and bias, CNN also has had several broadcasts that directly attack Ron Paul and his stance on certain issues that they deem to be just his imagination. Take, for example, the "rumors" that there are plans to create one large country by combining the United States, Mexico, and Canada and the superhighway that is to connect them. CNN ran a broadcast discussing this very issue, but then later - after Ron Paul had mentioned this issue - they attack him claiming that he is believing some conspiracy theory and blaming some secret organization for this "non-existent" threat on America's independence. They can't have it both ways, and since CNN did broadcast a show about this very issue, there has to be some truth to it. Why are they now trying to cover it up?
There is also a very derogatory article in the Dallas Morning News about Ron Paul and his bid for the Presidency. In the article, the reader is led to believe that Ron Paul is actually a fluke and is far too crazy to be a real threat for the office of President of the United States. They attack his stance on foreign policy and war; they also attack his beliefs about the Federal Reserve and turn his words around to try to make him look bad. This is yet another example of main stream media bias in regards to telling it like it really is about Ron Paul. In fact, the article is derogatory enough to actually claim that even a 6th grader would realize he is not the answer to America's problems or Presidential material.
Such attacks on his beliefs and his campaign, are cause for wonder. Just what exactly is the media afraid of? Why do they deny Ron Paul's campaign the same time and coverage that they give to other contenders? Could it in fact, be that they are afraid that he actually could win both
