The woman that carried you and nursed you in her body for nine months deserves an extra special gift for the Holidays. Since our mother's are often very special to us, we want to get her something grand. Since the Holidays are so vexing, and we are often stressed by them, imagine how mom feels! You'll want to make her holiday, but how? What can you possibly get for ten dollars these days? Well, actually, plenty!

~Slippers. More likely than not she is still cooking the big old turkey for Christmas dinner, and all of the fixin's. Imagine how dead on her feet she may be. Most stores now have the memory foam slippers, and if you have ever slipped your tootsies into one of these, you'd know that they would be a perfect gift for any one on your list. How about picking up a pair for dear old Ma? They come in a variety of styles and colors so you can get her just the pair she'll love.

~A book. How about giving her something to curl up with and relax after the festivities are over. If your mom is like mine, she loves to read, and you can often find a few books for under ten bucks. If you stick to paperback books, that is even better for your budget. Most stores even offer some best sellers for about five bucks a pop. and if you stroll through a half-priced store, you will spend even less, and get even more for your money.

~A bottle of wine. Perfect for relaxation. This will ease her stress, unwind her and put her in a good mood all at the same time! This will leave you free to snatch up all of the left-overs before she puts them away!

~Picture frames. Perfect! Add some family photo's printed from your PC, and you have a great, thoughtful present that isn't time consuming, yet not cheap. Most stores have very nice frames in the most popular sizes for small bucks. and since mom's love pics of the grandkids, this is perfect!

~Scented candles. Everybody loves candle's, do you really think that mom's are any different? And after everybody has been traipsing through her house all week long, she might need a little refreshing scent for that stuffy inside air. She'll love ya for it!

With all of the hustle and bustle this Holiday season, we all need de-stressing items close at hand. All of these will help your mother release some tension, and truly enjoy herself without causing you to be overdrawn!
