As an outsider I find it amazing that a country like America that can spend millions to get to the moon, cannot have a fully funded health system. I also find it amazing that a country that can spend millions trying to put democracy into regions that either do not want it or goes against their culture, cannot have a health system.
What is wrong with America, a supposed world leader that sacrifices its population in war and in peace, and yet cannot provide a decent health service for all it occupants?
I keep hearing of tax cuts in America, but why? Why are not these amounts instead of going back to the payee, go into a central fund for a health system?
Question upon question can be formed to criticize this action by the most powerful nation on the earth.
One of the biggest quotes of all time is "Charity begins at home." Whilst this is not a Charity organization, the implication of the quote goes far beyond that. If you want a country and its population to stand for you, then health care is a priority as well as a necessity. It is a fundamental that any family requires, I would never see my sister or brother suffer, so why do controlling factors who have been elected by the people to distribute their funds have to take a system that smacks of dictatorship. It is not a democracy to not have a health system in force.
All occupants of a nation are a family and should care one for another and this can be done through the taxes. I am sure that if a future government said we are going to raise taxes by say 2.5% and this amount will go to funding a health system for all, they would win hands down.
It is a known fact that insurance companies are not interested in health care, their main business is financial and usually involving land and property deals. It is also insurance and not an assurance. So no Insurance Company is a safe bet, it like the system at present is all about money. It is and has nothing to do with the care of the health of a nation, though the people employed by them are a God send and devoted to their daily situation.
A public health system is a must for America and I pray someone may read this and do something about it. A healthy nation is a profitable nation, not just those that control the situation for their own gain.
