Makes Taxes Manageable

I've found TurboTax the best way to prepare my income tax. TurboTax Deluxe is a great product for calculating and filing a fairly simple return.

The interview process walks you through the entire process. The Deluxe version helps dig out Schedule A deductions. It tracks charitable deductions, home ownership expensive such as property tax and mortgage interest, and medical expenses. This maximizes my deductions by finding all my eligible deductions.

Because the software knows the tax rules and does all the arithmetic, the risk of being audited is reduced. TurboTax reduces the changes of a careless mistake or a simple transposition error.

TurboTax can download data from major financial institutions. This makes entering the information even easier.

I use the planning tool to see what effect major changes in my life will have on my tax situation. I can adjust my withholding ahead of time rather than end up with a big refund or worse yet, a big tax bill.

TurboTax Deluxe integrates well with the state tax module. Once I've done my federal return, I'm just a few clicks away from having my state tax return ready to file as well.

TurboTax makes it easy to eFile my return. I don't need to worry about making copies and getting to the post office in time.
