AS I WALK OUT TODAY
As I walk out today, I see beauty all around me.
The lovely roses, kissed with nature's dew are there.
Each one telling its story of beauty and love. I
caress a velvety petal in my hand and smell of its
special fragrance.

As I walk out today, I see people all around me.
Beautiful people everywhere. Some are old, and some
are young, but all are beautiful in their own way,
because all have a story to tell, if allowed, and
there will be something beautiful in each one their
sagas.

As I walk out today, I look up and see the trees,
all beautiful in their stately grandeur. If only
they could talk, what stories would they tell! They
have witnessed many deeds, and seen many gorgeous,
breathtaking sunsets.

As I walk out today, I chance upon a squirrel.
He is perched there upon the fence, eating seeds.
He,too, is beautiful, in his lovely shades of brown.
I don't have my camera, but if I did, he picture
would be taken to remind me of one of God's wonderful
creatures.

As I near the pond today, there comes a duck.
His orange webbed feet totter beneath a body of spectacular
colors- browns, green, white, beige. He struts,
and if he could speak, I am sure he would be bragging
about his captivating looks.

The lovely pond, the home of the ducks has its
beauty too. It reflects the open sky above, and
with each ripple, rays of sunlight shimmer. What
a sight! The waters are therapeutic, bringing me
relief from the stressful day.

I return home, revived, refreshed, and with
even more appreciation of the great things wrought by
our Great Creator. This,to me, is beauty.
