Michael Vick is the kind of guy that are kids are looking up to, that adults are looking up to, the kind of guy who is suppossed to represent a good role model image. And yeah, that's hard. You can mess up. BUT THIS KIND OF MESS-UP is the kind that leads down one of the worst roads. Abuse a kitten, Make dogs fight one another, Kill those same dogs brutally.......this leads to molesters, torturers, assasins, killers and serial killers.

Once anyone who finds amusement in hurting and harming living creatures that REALLY show REAL emotion (such as dogs and cats) will soon find that that isn't enough. They will want something better and become unsatisfied with the cats and dogs because its just the same as they've done before. It's already been done. So they'll move on to babies, children and other adults. It has actually been studied before and studies have shown that this is true. (I'm sorry I don't know the exact article, but doesn't it sound right? If not, go look it up. It's out there.)

So Mr. Vick, I don't care who he is, celebrity or not celebrity, he needs a longer sentence. Because he lied first, and then he committed so many acts of cruelty that are unreasonable. If he's sorry, feels remorse, then that's great. BUT don't let him get away with a simple "sorry." This is the time where that isn't enough. He did get a decent sentence and that's good but I think it should have been extended another 3-6 months. He needs to be shown that what he did is NEVER acceptable and leads to EVEN WORSE scenerios.
