Another thing that always pops up is, "Is this going to become obsolete in another year?" With advances in technology this is always a question consumers have on their minds. While all video game consoles provide a wide variety of games, there are some that provide more for certain age groups. Nintendo tends to produce games that are family-oriented. A complaint about Nintendo is that they don't produce enough "grown-up" games. However, if this console is for a young audience, Nintendo might be the route to go. The Nintendo GameCube or the Nintendo Wii might be a good choice for a family with young kids. The Nintendo Wii has another feature that makes it a good gift for this type of receiver. This is one of the greatest criticisms of gaming, but you won't have to worry about it with the Nintendo Wii.
