I've used TurboTax Deluxe + State for several years and will likely never switch!

When I was in college, my dad did my tax paperwork. I was still living at home and my fast-food job's income was peanuts - so I'm sure my forms were the easiest ones dad ever did, but they were daunting and filled with confusing language to me. After college, I got a real job and moved out on my own. Dad switched to using TurboTax and recommended I try it. I was still nervous I would screw something up or not know about a tax break I was due for - but it was SO easy!

The program asks you questions about your income and expenses in everyday English. After you fill out the info from your W-2s etc. it cross-references that information in other areas so that you don't have to keep referring to it - wondering if you're putting in the right information. It questions you about every possible life scenario so that there is no chance you miss a tax break.

It's shocking - I actually almost look forward to doing my taxes? They've made it so easy my only worry is to keeping track of the end of the year finance paperwork. After that, I eagerly await the end calculation screen and dream about what to get with my refund this year ...
